Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Emileyt IPTV Player is a media player app for Android phones/tablets, Android TV, Fire TV, iOS, and Windows. It plays streams from an M3U/M3U8 playlist or Xtream Codes account that you provide yourself. Emileyt does not sell or host any TV channel, movie, or series content, and does not offer an IPTV subscription; the app is only a player for sources you supply.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

The following information is stored only in your device's app storage (SharedPreferences / local app storage):

• Profiles (name, icon, and color)
• M3U/M3U8 playlist URL and Xtream Codes details (server address, username, password)
• Profile PIN (4 digits)
• Language and player settings
• Favorites, watch history, and resume position
• Category hide/reorder preferences
• TMDB poster cache for movies and series
• Pro (ad-free) purchase status
• Downloaded movies/episodes (Android: 'Downloads/Emileyt IPTV' folder; iOS: Files app)

Your playlist address, Xtream Codes credentials, watch history, and profiles are never uploaded to Emileyt's servers, are not tied to an Emileyt account, and are not automatically synced across devices.

3. Advertising (AdMob)

The free (non-Pro) version of the app shows banner ads on Android and iOS via Google AdMob. AdMob may use an advertising ID or device identifier to display ads and measure basic interaction. On iOS, the app requests App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission before showing personalized ads. Upgrading to Pro removes all ads. The Windows version has no ads. 4. Analytics

To understand how the app is used and to improve it, Emileyt IPTV Player uses Google Analytics for Firebase (available only on Android and iOS). This collects anonymous usage data such as which screens and features are used, the general app version, and an approximate country-level location — it never includes your playlist address, login credentials, PIN, or any content you watch. You can turn this off at any time from Settings -> "Share Usage Statistics". This feature is not active on Windows, webOS, or Amazon Fire TV. 5. In-App Purchases

Emileyt Pro is a one-time, lifetime purchase that removes ads and unlocks extras such as profile personalization. Payment is processed entirely through the Apple App Store or Google Play; Emileyt never sees or stores your card or payment details. On iOS, a promotional Apple Offer Code flow may be available for some campaigns; it is handled directly by Apple, is not offered as a standard in-app purchase option, and does not transmit any data to Emileyt.

6. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services for limited purposes:

• TMDB (The Movie Database) — movie/series titles from your playlist are sent to TMDB solely to fetch poster artwork; no personal data is shared. See https://www.themoviedb.org/privacy-policy
• Google Cast (Chromecast) — used only if you choose to cast content to a Chromecast device.
• Your own IPTV/Xtream provider — the M3U/Xtream address you enter goes directly to the server you specified; Emileyt is not part of that server and is not responsible for its content.

7. Permissions

The app may request the following device permissions:

• Internet access — to play streams and fetch poster/EPG data
• Nearby devices (Android) — to cast to a Chromecast device
• Tracking permission (iOS ATT) — free version only, for ad personalization
• Storage/file access — to save and play downloaded movies and episodes

8. Content Responsibility

Emileyt IPTV Player does not provide, host, sell, or guarantee any stream, channel, movie, or series content, and does not offer an IPTV subscription. Any M3U/M3U8 playlist or Xtream Codes account you add is entirely your own; you are solely responsible for the legality, copyright compliance, and reliability of any content you access through it. The developer is not responsible for any content streamed through user-supplied sources.

9. Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from them. The ad infrastructure in the free version (AdMob) may use third-party advertising identifiers under Google's own policies. Parents can use the profile PIN and/or the Pro (ad-free) version to manage their children's access.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

All data stored on your device, including profiles, playlist information, watch history, and downloads, is removed when you uninstall the app; you can also clear app data manually from your device settings. Third parties such as AdMob, Apple, and Google process their own data under their own privacy policies and retention periods.

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be published on this page along with an updated date.
